I started drawing as soon as I could hold a pencil and not eat my crayons. Both of my grandmothers were very artistic. I spent many hours learning art from my aunt, my father's twin, who was an accomplished artist.
At age 11, I started taking private music lessons and continued for 8 years. Also at the same age, I studied art with the Art Instruction, Inc, a correspondence school in Minneapolis MN. Before 18, I was painting murals and other commissions. I graduated when I was 18. After graduation I was teaching music for the Bellaire TX School of Music. I studied private accordion lessons with Bill Palmer, who published lesson books and taught at the University of Houston. I also studied organ lessons with John Peck from Austria. I also performed on Live Television for children's shows. As an adult I studied portraiture with John Howard Sanden and still refer to my lesson book. I also studied portraiture with Tina Soyko and enjoyed a seminar with Windberg and I have his complete instruction book. I still refer to videos of Margaret Seargent. This year I became a lifetime member of The Cambridge Who's Who.Click on Link. Cambridge Who's Who delivers its members recognition and competitive edge. In recent years I have had the privelege of visiting the famous art museums of Europe: The Louvre in Paris, The Rikes in Switzerland. art museums in the Holy Land, Austria, Holland, Venice, Turkey and Egypt, etc....Click Here to link to several sites about Cambridge and other sites about my Business.
One of my greatest joys is to make a porcelain doll of elderly ladies as they used to look in their 20's. Call for further info.
